This page was to log my work on DEADLINE a horror game made by Turtlesoft studios. Turtlesoft studios is a game studio created by eleven CGT students for their capstone project. My role on the project was as a director and 3D artist but I also work on some of the programming tasks.
It must be noted that we used the FPS Game Starter Kit to create the base of the game. We did this because we believed that it would speed up the development and because most of the video game design students were used to using it.
In the end I:
modeled half of the assets
textured all of the assets
created all of the final levels
modeled, textured, and programmed the AI for the monster.
programmed the anxiety system
Created the UI and the images for all the menus
made a toolkit of models to easily make levels (see the activator system video and the tile update video)
This is the final video I put together for the project
These are the assets that I modeled for the game
This is an update for the AI I put together.
this was the system I used to make my assets interactable. The goal was to make it easily expandable and simple to use for my team members
this is an update on my tileset that I created to make It easier for the level designers to make the levels.
this is a slightly outdated video showing my prototype for the anxiety mechanic. It has been changed significantly since then as I learned more about the unreal engine.
